Application of an electronic control system of the engine has the following advantages:

 – optimum supply of fuel in the engine on all is provided to operation these modes therefore fuel consumption at preservation of dynamic characteristics of the car decreases;
 – in connection with fuller combustion of fuel, and also use of the catalyst emission of harmful substances together with exhaust gases decreases;
 – as the electronic control system of the engine defines and writes down in memory of malfunction, search and detection of malfunctions considerably accelerates;
 – the control system of the engine on all operational modes establishes an optimum angle of an advancing of ignition, the moment and amount of the fuel given to the engine. Also the control system of the engine interacts with other systems of the car, in particular, with a control system of the automatic transmission or with anticreeping system.

Components of a control system of the engine are very reliable and practically do not demand service. At maintenance it is only necessary to make replacement of the air filter and spark plugs. As for check, adjustment and repair of a control system of the engine it is necessary to use the difficult expensive equipment, this work needs to be performed at specialized service station.

In use the car it is not required to make adjustment of turns of idling and contents WITH in exhaust gases.


Prevention

At work on system of ignition it is necessary to be careful with the included ignition as it is possible to receive blow by current from a high-voltage part of system of ignition. People from a stimulator ми warm activity are not recommended to check and make repair of a control system of the engine. Switch off ignition before a detachment or connection of any element of system of ignition or probes of the measuring device.

The fuel system is under constant pressure, even after switching off of the engine therefore when carrying out any works on fuel system it is necessary to take off pressure.

For prevention of a possibility of casual short circuits of an electric chain and damage of electronic components of a control system of the engine always remove a weight wire from the accumulator.


Before performance of any works on a control system of the engine cause the malfunctions which are written down in it from memory. Also check tightness of fuel system and system of air supply in the engine.

Normal work of a control system of the engine is possible only at a tension in network of the car not lower than 11,5 Century.

If after work on a control system of the engine, the engine is started and through short time stops, perhaps, the engine is switched off by anticreeping system. In this case cause the malfunctions which are written down in it from memory and, if necessary, adjust a control system of the engine.
