2.6.1. Drive of the gas-distributing mechanism

GENERAL INFORMATION

Gas distribution mechanism drive

1 – camshaft asterisk;
2 – a rotor of impulses for Hall's sensor;
3 – bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the camshaft, 10 Nanometers. Before a vvinchivaniye of a bolt grease the lower surface of a head of a bolt with a thin layer of engine oil. When tightening a bolt hold from a provorachivaniye the camshaft a wrench  on 24;
4 – rotary finger, 18 Nanometers;
5 – sealing ring. In the presence of damages use a new sealing ring;
6 – device of a tension of a chain, 40 Nanometers;
7 – boot;
8 – asterisk;
9 – two-row roller chain. Before removal of a chain note the direction of rotation of a chain;
10 – bolt, 100 Nanometers;
11 – asterisk;
12 – bolt, 10 Nanometers;
13 – chain tension device. Before removal of the device of a tension of a chain the screw-driver release the fixing gear gearing and separate a chain guide from the tension device. It is possible to turn the engine only with the installed chain tension device;
14 – leading asterisk of a chain,
15 – unary chain;
16 – sending to a chain;
17 – a special finger for the directing chain, 10 Nanometers;
18 – the directing finger with a fillet, 10 Nanometers;
19 – a bolt which is established by means of the special VW-D6 tool, 20 Nanometers,

21 – sending to a chain;
22 – the bolt established by means of the special VW6 tool, 20 Nanometers;
23 – the directing ring;

Groove arrangement on an asterisk of an intermediate shaft at installation of the piston of the first cylinder in VMT in a compression step

1 – chain:
2 – sending to a chain;
3 – forward asterisk of an intermediate shaft;
4 – back asterisk of an intermediate shaft;

And – a chain tension mechanism clamp;
In – adjusting tooth on an asterisk of a bent shaft has to be on one line with the socket of a cover of the radical bearing No. 1;
With – an adjusting tag on an asterisk of an intermediate shaft;
D – an adjusting tag on an asterisk of an intermediate shaft


The drive of camshafts is carried out from a bent shaft, not directly, and through an intermediate asterisk. On one shaft with an intermediate asterisk the asterisk of smaller diameter through which and the second chain the gas distribution mechanism is put in action is fixed. The top chain of the drive distributive shaft stretches by means of the lamellar device of a tension which keeps in required position by means of the adjusting bolt located outside. The lower chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution has the hydraulic device of a tension which does not demand adjustment.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before removal of chains of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution, using paint, apply tags on chains in the places shown on rice. Places of drawing tags before removal of chains of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution.
2. Turn a bent shaft of the engine in such situation at which the piston of the first cylinder will be installed in the top dead point. At the same time the adjusting tag on a pulley/quencher of fluctuations of a bent shaft has to be combined with the index on a chain casing.
3. At installation of the piston of the first cylinder in VMT on asterisks of an intermediate shaft the groove has to be visible (see rice. A groove arrangement on an asterisk of an intermediate shaft at installation of the piston of the first cylinder in VMT in a compression step).
If the groove on an asterisk промежуточ a leg of a shaft is not visible, turn a bent shaft of the engine on one whole revolution and repeatedly combine adjusting tags with indexes.
4. Fix camshafts, having inserted the special VW-3268 tool into grooves of camshafts.
5. When unscrewing a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the camshaft, using a wrench, for lysk hold the camshaft from a provorachivaniye.
