GENERAL INFORMATION

Fuel filter of diesel engines

1 – supply of fuel from the fuel tank,
2 – supply of fuel to the fuel pump of high pressure,
3 – ventilation bolt,
4 – collar,
5 – a stopper for liquid discharge

Arrangement of collars (A) and bolt of fastening (V) of fuel hoses

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge all liquid from the fuel filter.
2. Clear places of connection of fuel-supply lines to the fuel filter.
3. Remove the collars fixing топливопро waters to the fuel filter.
4. Weaken a collar (4) the fixing fuel filter to an arm, see rice. Fuel filter of diesel engines.
5. Unscrew the fuel filter from the top part of the filter. For keeping of the top part of the filter from a provorachivaniye it is only possible to use the wrench of 17 mm established on a head of a bolt of ventilation (3) see rice. Fuel filter of diesel engines.
6. Grease new consolidations and new laying with diesel fuel.
7. Fill the filter with diesel fuel thanks to what the engine can be quicker started.
8. Tighten manually to the full the fuel filter to the top part of the filter.
9. Install the filter on an arm and fix it by a collar.
10. Connect fuel-supply lines to the filter and fix them by collars. The arrow on the filter specifies the direction of a stream of fuel.
11. For closing of intake of air in a power supply system, tighten a collar (A), and screw in a bolt (V) of fastening of a hose to an arm, see rice. Arrangement of collars (A) and bolt of fastening (V) of fuel hoses.
12. Removal of air will come from fuel system automatically, after start of the engine. After several pressing an accelerator pedal, fuel without bubbles has to flow on the transparent pipeline to the fuel pump of high pressure.
13. Visually check tightness of fuel system, in particular, in junctions of the fuel filter.
