1.3.1. Replacement of oil and oil filter

GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of a stopper of discharge of oil


Periodic replacement of oil and oil filter – the most important preventive procedure of maintenance. When engine oil grows old, it becomes liquid and polluted that leads to premature wear of the engine.

Before this procedure gather all necessary tools and materials. It is necessary that the engine was warm in order that oil flew down together with the bulk of the substances polluting it better.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car on the elevator or install the car in a number horizontal situation over a viewing hole.
2. Remove the lower mudguard of the engine.
3. Weaken a drain stopper approximately on a half of a turn. Place a container for discharge of oil under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper completely. If it is necessary, press a stopper when you unscrew that oil did not proceed prematurely, see rice. Arrangement of a stopper of discharge of oil.
4. When oil completely flows down, wipe everything around a drain opening a rag and reliably screw up a stopper into place.
5. Move a container under an oil filter.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Use the special HAZET 2171-1 tool to weaken an oil filter, then unscrew it a hand.
2. Wipe all traces of oil and dirt around the place of fastening of the filter. Check whether there was no rubber consolidation on the block of cylinders. If it remained, then remove it.
3. Grease rubber consolidation of a new oil filter with pure engine oil and screw in a hand an oil filter to a contact of rubber laying with the engine then you dovintit the filter a hand on 1/2 turns.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For a hexagon or a polyhedron, unscrew the lower part of the filter, see rice. Lower part of an oil filter).
2. Using pure rags, remove the lower part of the filter with the boss of the filter.
3. Establish a new cartridge of the filter.
4. Replace a sealing ring in the lower part of the filter, see rice. An arrangement of a sealing ring in the lower part of the filter.
5. Screw up the lower part of the filter with effort of 25 Nanometers.
6. Using the N02-0135 tool, screw up a stopper in the lower part of an oil filter with effort of 10 Nanometers.
7. Uncover a maslozalivny mouth, see rice. Arrangement of a cover of a maslozalivny mouth.
8. Fill in oil in the engine, using the corresponding grade of oil. Fill in a half of necessary amount of oil and wait several minutes that oil flew down in the pallet, then continue to fill in oil in the small portions until the level of oil reaches the maximum level on the probe (c), see rice. Oil level on the measuring probe.
If the level of oil is at the minimum level (a), at addition about one more liters the level of oil will rise to maximum on the probe.
9. Close a cover of a jellied mouth.
10. Start the engine and let's it work several minutes. Check it regarding leak of oil around the filter and a drain stopper on the pallet. Keep in mind that the control bulb of pressure of oil can burn several seconds as oil has to fill all channels and oil capacities in the engine.
11. Switch off the engine and wait several minutes that oil flew down in the pallet. Check the level of oil and add if it is necessary. Check reliability of tightening of a masloslivny stopper.
12. Establish the lower mudguard of the engine.
