GENERAL INFORMATION

REASON
ELIMINATION METHOD
At inclusion of ignition the control lamp of accumulator charging does not burn
The accumulator is discharged Check tension and, if necessary, charge the accumulator.
Unreliable connection or oxidation of plugs of the accumulator Check reliability of connection and, if necessary, clear accumulator plugs.
The wire on contact of the generator is unreliably tightened or oxidized Check and, if necessary, tighten a fastening wire to the generator.
The control bulb fused Replace a bulb.
Tension regulator is faulty Check and, if necessary replace tension regulator.
Break of a wire between the generator, the lock of ignition and a control lamp Check tension on a chain, beginning from the generator.
Generator brushes leaky adjoin to contact rings Check length of brushes and freedom of their movement in holders.
The winding of excitement of the generator burned down Check a rotor and diodes which at detection of defects need to be replaced.
The control lamp of accumulator charging does not die away at increase in turns of the engine
The belt is insufficiently tense or worn-out poliklinovy Check a condition of a poliklinovy belt and the mechanism of a tension of a belt.
Idling coupling is faulty (only TDI) Remove the generator and turn counterclockwise a generator shaft. If at the same time the mobile surface of a belt pulley does not turn, so coupling of idling is faulty.
The regulator of tension or the generator is faulty Disconnect a wire (D+) from a back part of the generator and include ignition. If the control lamp still did not light up, so the generator or the regulator of tension is faulty.
Tension regulator brushes are worn-out Check length of brushes and, if necessary, replace them.
Tension regulator is faulty Check the regulator of tension and, if necessary, replace it.
The generator is faulty Check the generator and, if necessary, replace it.
Defect of the wire connecting the generator to tension regulator Disconnect a blue wire in the electric T32A socket of the block 12 of a distributive box. If after that the control lamp does not burn, so a wire of D + will close on weight and it is necessary to replace a wire.
The distributive box is faulty Disconnect a blue wire from the electric T32A socket. If the control lamp lights up after that, so the distributive box is faulty.
The control lamp of accumulator charging burns at the switched-off ignition
Short circuit of the diode Check and, if necessary, replace the diode.
