Electronic system of stabilization (ESP)

GENERAL INFORMATION

Cars with anti-blocking system can be also equipped with electronic system of stabilization.

By means of system of stabilization control of dynamics of the car in the limit modes is exercised, for example when overcoming turns at a high speed. Danger of demolition or a drift of the car significantly reduces ся at all possible conditions of a paving.

Usually the system of stabilization is always included. Only in certain exceptional cases when pro-slipping of wheels is desirable to switch off preferably system.

Action of electronic system of stabilization

In electronic system of stabilization the anti-blocking system and both protivobuksovochny systems are integrated. Except that information which is necessary for these systems for the control unit of electronic system of stabilization additional data which are delivered by highly sensitive sensors are required. Are measured the speed of movement of a body around a vertical axis of the car, size of accelerations in the cross plane, pressure in system of the drive of brakes and an angle of rotation of the operated wheels.

On the basis of the operated wheels given about an angle of rotation and speed of the car that direction in which the driver of the car intends to move is defined and it is constantly compared with the actual behavior of the car. At inconsistency of these factors when demolition or a drift of the car begins, the system of stabilization automatically brakes a certain wheel.

By means of those forces which arise at snubbing of the necessary wheel the car comes back to a condition of dynamic stability. At an excess povorachivayemost of the car (aspiration to a drift of a back part of the car) the slowing-down influence is put to a wheel, forward, external in relation to turn, at an insufficient povorachivayemost (aspiration to demolition of a forward part of the car of a knaruzha of turn) the back internal wheel is braked.
